About the event
Has your faith become tangled with fear, shame, control, or harm? Were you taught that obedience mattered more than safety—or that questioning was dangerous?
Untangling Faith is an 8-week support group for survivors of spiritual abuse and high-control religious environments. This group offers a compassionate and trauma informed space to begin to unravel harmful beliefs, name spiritual wounds, and reclaim trust and autonomy.
Using Broken Trust by F. Remy Diederich as our guide, participants will explore their experiences at a pace that honors their nervous system, story, and autonomy.
This Journey Includes:
Untangling Confusion & Shame– Making sense of harmful teachings and internalized fear
Separating Faith from Control– Identifying manipulation, coercion, and spiritual abuse
